Introducing the new Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa general manager.

This September, Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa appointed Chandrashekhar Joshi as general manager for the property. Better known as CJ, the man is no stranger to the Marriott International brand. He started his career at Le Méridien Pune in 2000, where he honed his skills in the F&B division. Afterwards, he joined Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre and MEA, before crossing over to the sales division.

In 2009, CJ was appointed the director of sales in JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, and in 2013, he helmed the operational team as the director of operations at Courtyard Mumbai International Airport. Other impressive stints in CJ’s resume include general manager at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa, and general manager of JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa.

As the recipient of Marriott International’s General Manager Leadership Excellence Awards in 2017 and 2019, CJ is ready for his Bali chapter. “I am delighted to move to Bali to join the talented team of ambassadors at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa.
