A Wine Dinner at Breeze at The Samaya Seminyak

The award-winning seaside eatery is back again with The Taste of Origin, bringing together great food and wine in one night.

Following a successful debut event in July, Breeze at The Samaya Seminyak will host another wine appreciation night with The Taste of The Origin Volume Two on 22 September 2022, featuring a very well-known French wine by Baron Philippe de Rothschild.

The five-course degustation event will feature specially curated dishes from Executive Chef Surya Perdana and carefully chosen wine pairings from Emmanual Giry, Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s Southeast Asia Director. Emmanuel, who works for Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s brand division, is responsible for managing 18 different markets around Southeast Asia. Additionally, Madhe Yudi will also attend the dinner as a guest sommelier to share his expertise from working as the head sommelier for The St. Regis Bali Resort, W Bali – Seminyak and Apéritif Bali.

In the second instalment of The Taste of The Origin, five various Baron Philippe de Rothschild wines will be served with delicacies such as starters of yellowfin tuna and salmon carpaccio and Mouton Cadet Classic Blanc. The second-course pairs Mouton Cadet Cuvée Heritage with pan-seared tiger prawn in XO Sauce. Chef Surya will pamper your taste buds with smoked duck breast with raspberry sauce and Mouton Cadet Heritage before the main meal. For the main course, rosemary crumb lamb rack in red wine sauce is served with Mouton Cadet Reserve Margaux. As a sweet ending, mouthwatering vanilla pannacotta will be served with Mouton Cadet Reserve Sauternes.
