Discover why Aman Le Mélézin is the ultimate snowy holiday destination for the winter.
Set in the legendary Les Troi Vallées region of the Alps, Aman Le Mélézin is the perfect winter holiday spot for any thrill-seekers looking to spend time in an icy, powdery haven admiring over 600km of groomed ski slopes and exceptional skiing facilities.
Open from mid-December to April each year, the ski resort boasts 31 luxurious rooms and suites that were upgraded and refurbished in 2016. Dedicated to ensuring each guest gets to fully experience the resort, exclusively this year it is offering a Ski & Spa Privilege Pass; an exclusive package for stays of three, four or six nights within the specified weeks until March 2020. With this pass, guests are entitled to choose between a ski package offering unlimited lift access across Les Trois Vallées or a spa package with a daily 30-minute yoga session followed by a 50-minute holistic massage and 30-minute bespoke treatment in the spa. Daily breakfast and a lunch or dinner are also included, with shuttle services within the Courchevel area included with the pass.
Not only providing its guests with a beautiful backdrop of groomed white slopes but in 2017 the resort also added the new holistic Aman Spa and a fine Japanese restaurant, Nama. Aman Spa is a 767sqm oasis of tranquillity with five treatment rooms offering treatments to nourish heat and moisture after exposing oneself to the wind and cold. For complete indulgence, the Signature Spa Journey combines dry brushing to boost circulation, a tension-releasing hot stone and oil massage, and a calming facial designed specially to counter the Alpine breeze.
For dining, Nama, the resort’s only signature Japanese restaurant, serves authentic washoku cuisine. Under the hands of Master Chef Keiji Matoba, the restaurant is open for staying and non-staying guests to try exquisite delicacies that include sushi, sashimi and signature dishes such as wagyu beef and otoro tuna.
