New Chef on the Block

Putting the fun back into Italian dining, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua has upped the ante at its signature restaurant, Prego, with the recent appointment of Chef de Cuisine, Alessandro Molini. Chef Molini is the latest addition to Prego’s culinary team, bringing with him his high-energy personality and his passion for authentic Italian food. The new chef comes direct from Four Seasons Resort Nevis in the West Indies, where he was instrumental in re-establishing their Italian restaurant following a tropical cyclone. Now, Chef Molini finds himself on the island of Bali, responsible for taking Prego to the next level. Prego is one of Bali’s most family-friendly restaurants, so the chef’s vibrant character is the perfect match to the upbeat eatery. Prego is perhaps most famous for its Sunday family brunch that hosts a different kids’ themes each month, and the new chef has already overseen the introduction of an outdoor barbecue to this weekly ritual. Prego has also recently launched its SPG lunches and dinners every Wednesday, serving up unlimited salad, pizza and gelato to diners of all ages. Prego is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11AM to 11PM. You can find further details at www.westinnusaduabali.com/en/prego
