Marina Bay Sands

A toast to the fabulous life in Singapore

FROM RENOWNED CELEBRITY CHEF RESTAURANTS AND LUXURIOUS SHOPPING TO WORLD-CLASS THEATER PRODUCTIONS, INCOMPARABLE NIGHTLIFE AND A 57TH FLOOR INFINITY EDGE SWIMMING POOL, MARINA BAY SANDS HAS TRANSFORMED THE HOTEL, SHOPPING AND ENTERTAINMENT LIFESTYLE LANDSCAPE IN SINGAPORE.

With several hundred thousand feet of retail space, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is Singapore’s first large-scale luxury shopping mall in the heart of the Central Business District. Experience a refreshing mix of international luxury brands, emerging labels and new concepts, including the refreshing Louis Vuitton “island” store housed in the futuristic Crystal Pavilion, two stand-alone glass-and-steel structures that appear to float on the water.

The first thing you’ll notice at the Sands is the inspiring architecture as natural sunlight bathes the passageway of the mall, illuminating the interiors through magnificent glass windows. Like sparkling jewels themselves, luxury brands twinkle throughout each level and include the expected classics such as Bally, Bottega Veneta, Bulgari, Cartier, CHANEL, Patek Philippe, Salvatore Ferragamo and Yves Saint Laurent.

Harder to find and new-to-market fashion forward brands that are creating their own modern global buzz are easily accessible as well and include Anne Fontaine, Hermes Watches, Kieselstein-Cord, Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Collection, Scavia, Stefano Ricii and REDValentino among many others.

Creating Culinary Magic

Elevating Singapore’s dining scene on to the global stage, Marina Bay Sands offers an unbeatable mix of world-renowned chefs, signature restaurants, cafés and bistros. Acclaimed celebrity chefs including New York’s Mario Batali, Guy Savoy from Paris, L.A.’s Wolfgang Puck and Sydney’s Tetsuya Wakuda have jumped at the opportunity to showcase their talents here.

Rooftop dining doesn’t get any better than Singapore’s very own Ku De Ta, hailed internationally as one of the top ten global hotspots by The New York Times. A feast for the senses, indulge in 360-degree panoramic views of the city skyline and Straits of Singapore. Choose to dine indoors or in the 230-seater al fresco area. Chef Dean Bush, a ten-year veteran in kitchens across London and Kent, manages the kitchen at this iconic restaurant. Always in pursuit of his passion for new techniques of cooking and inspired by travels from north to south Asia, dishes are served and enjoyed by the entire table creating a unique, multi-sensory culinary adventure. Perched 200 meters above the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, Ku De Ta’s multi-tiered restaurant is a fusion of elegant style, cutting-edge design and peerless standards.

The two-person tasting menu includes such delicacies as crispy-sticky baby squid, pan-fried foie gras & curry bread, bamboo-grilled halibut, seared Black Angus beef tataki, and kingfish ceviche with roasted capsicum salsa. Honoring vegetarian patrons, Ku De Ta’s experienced wait staff is happy to alter meat and seafood dishes to vegetarian on request and offers succulent vegetarian options including the favorite roasted kabocha squash with date honey and toasted sesame.

For carnivores, the Chef is proud to serve genuine Japanese wagyu beef only from Takara Ranch in central Kansai. For the past 400 years, the Imperial Palace of Japan has recognized Ohmi-gyu as the greatest beef raised in Japan. Keeping only a small herd of 350 cattle, the 100% kuroge-wagyu is available in Singapore exclusively at Ku De Ta – the sirloin is to die for.

After dinner, the restaurant scene shifts gear into intimate mode, as the Club Lounge becomes all shadows and candlelight, setting the mood as one of the hottest places to be seen and heard in Singapore. Indulge in champagne and cognac, under a star-lit sky or indoors to the thrilling state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, while rocking to the rhythms of world-famous deejays. The SkyBar’s mixologists tantalize and tease with an iconic custom cocktail menu that includes the most exciting martini offerings in town. Don’t miss the ‘Yellow and Dirty’ – Grey Goose vodka muddled with fresh pineapple and vanilla pods – or the ‘Blushing Baby’ – Lemon vodka, crushed watermelon, mint and lemon presse.
