There are eight spa rooms named after healing gems, each giving guests a changing area and shower that leads into a dramatic treatment room. This enormously high space has the plush and extremely comfortable massage bed firmly centre stage ensconced within a set of overlapping woven rattan panels that gently fit together to resemble the inside of an intricate temple bell. The dark colours in the room are offset by a long traditional woven batik wall hanging and a white orchid.
Your treatment starts with your feet being bathed in a copper bowl, scrubbed and cleaned, before you move to the treatment bed. As you sink into the comfort, your skilled massage therapist sounds a Tibetan singing bowl to align your senses and signal the start of your session.
