This July, the world’s best-loved musical is coming to the MasterCard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The Sound of Music will bring a dazzling production from the home of West End musicals – the famous London Palladium. The original 1959 Broadway production of The Sound of Music won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and was Rodgers and Hammerstein’s biggest success. The Sound of Music brims with some of the most memorable songs ever performed on the musical stage, including “My Favourite Things”, “Do-Re-Mi”, “Edelweiss”, and of course, the glorious title song “The Sound of Music”.
