New luxury destination Jumeirah Bali, which opened in mid-2022, proudly presents the Jumeirah Group’s award-winning Talise Spa. Setting itself apart from its counterparts, Talise Spa is the only spa on the island that offers a traditional royal hammam, in addition to its signature soulful Divine Therapies menu and holistic wellness therapies.
The spa follows the resort in drawing inspiration from the Majapahit empire, incorporating iconic elements from the legendary kingdom that ruled the region until the 16th century. Nestled amidst the resort’s lush tropical garden, the spa is placed on one of Jumeirah Bali’s upper terraced levels. Sprawling across a 1,705sqm area, it is home to a lavish Turkish hammam, which is also a homage to Princess Campa, an instrumental figure during the Ottoman Empire who popularised the hammam-style bath house.
Inspired by the Javanese Hindu’s Satyam, Siwam, Sundaram philosophies (truth, consciousness, bliss), Talise Spa seamlessly combines age-old Balinese and Arabic beauty traditions with European expertise to create bespoke rejuvenating therapies that will refresh body, mind and soul.
Talise Spa invites guests to indulge in treatments such as holistic facials, healing and energising massages, cleansing scrubs and stress-release therapies, among others. The spa also upholds the importance of chakras to achieve wellness of the body and spirit, evident in treatments like Wewaran, an ancient Balinese numerology practice to calculate and balance the chakras. Furthermore, guests can enjoy Talise Spa’s elaborate facilities, like the sauna, steam bath, Vichy shower, as well as the modern fitness centre.
