THE KIRANA BALI

Situated in the cultural area of Canggu, The Kirana proudly invites you to get back to nature in paradise.

A Canggu Paradise

The Island of the Gods is a paradise full of hidden gems to discover, the place to go seeking new adventures in nirvana. Set in the coastal village of Canggu, South Bali, The Kirana presents a boutique hotel of uplifting designs with a back-to-nature concept, located five minutes from Batu Bolong beach and close to Echo Beach. Bringing an exciting element to Canggu, this smart property features just 29 contemporary guest rooms, which includes a Penthouse, the Kanaya Spa and one four-bedroom pool villa. With 10km of beautiful black sandy beach, Canggu is recognized as both homely and a popular surf spot for its great waves and laid-back summer vibe.

A Humble Abode

About 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai airport, The Kirana welcomes you to a beach escape. Stepping into its wantilan-styled lobby surrounded by Koi ponds, checking in was as swift as the drive there. Walking into the hotel, guests pass beautiful rice terraces providing a sense of Ubud and Seminyak all-one-in, perfect for guests seeking the best of both surroundings. The rooms are spacious, with the Kirana Penthouse boasting 93 sq.m. of lush space. Decked out in stylish modern furnishings of trendy purple and calming green, with a separate dining and living area, and a large refrigerator, it was my personal humble abode complete with surround-sound system, an iPod speaker dock and two LED TVs. The bedroom was immaculate, with a sizeable king-sized bed, a large dressing mirror to make sure I was immaculate for the night’s events and a spacious bathroom with all the right amenities for my beach holiday. I suddenly didn’t miss home.

I now fully understand why guests would be drawn to The Kirana. Apart from its spacious guest rooms, my balcony door slid open to my very own private plunge pool with a wide view across the ocean of Canggu beach. There was no reason to go anywhere else for a picture-perfect sunset, all I needed was to lounge on the deck chair and enjoy the view whilst sipping on my welcome drink.

Blissful Zen

The hotel also has its own wellness facilities, like the Kenaya Spa, where guests are invited to indulge in a variety of holistically-inspired treatments for complete body, mind and soul indulgence. There is even a couple’s romantic Balinese massage treatment with an ocean-view recommended, well-known by spa and beauty salon lovers. Alternatively, guests can choose to use the hotel’s modern gymnasium, or the elevated deck for yoga, meditation and other healthy lifestyle practices.

Dine with a View

The hotel’s Koi Restaurant is conveniently located in the lobby, where breakfast is also served. The menu is an eclectic mix of international and local delicacies complemented by the refreshing view of the rice fields right in front of you. Otherwise, there are bars and restaurants along the way to Batu Bolong beach should you wish to explore the area, which is an easy five-minute walk along the road.

The Kirana is a tropical hotel with a true sense of style offering guests personalized Balinese hospitality where every conceivable need is anticipated.
