A French Affair

Celebrate Chris Salans’ latest culinary recognition with a collaborative dinner to remember.

Early this month, master chef Chris Salans was awarded the Order of Agricultural Merit by the government of France. The award was bestowed on the chef by French Ambassador Olivier Chambard in a formal ceremony at his official residence in Jakarta. This accolade was established in 1883 to reward individuals for exceptional service in the fields of agriculture and gastronomy.

To celebrate this milestone, chef Chris is hosting Magical French Dinner at Mozaic Restaurant. At this dinner, on 27 September 2020, chef Chris will team up with French pastry chef Vincent Nigita, owner and pastry chef of Vince Nigita Patisserie, to prepare a special tasting menu consisting of French classics, including Fines de Claire oysters, Brittany lobster, foie gras, venison and Valrhona chocolate. Mozaic’s wine manager, Jean Francois Moch, has also selected French wine pairings for each course.

The seven-course dinner is priced at IDR1,250,000++ per person, while the nine-course dinner is IDR1,600,000 per person. Wine pairings are available for an additional IDR990,000++ for the seven-course feast and IDR1,250,000++ for nine courses. With only 60 seats up for grabs, early reservation is highly recommended.
