Honouring its savoury pastries and desserts selection, Ni Yayuk Nilam Sari, commis pastry at The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali won first place in the traditional Indonesian savoury snacks and sweets creations at the Indonesia Pastry Alliance (IPA) Championship 2019.
Held in Nusa Dua Convention Centre from 26 to 28 September, the IPA Championship is Indonesia’s only pastry and bakery competition for amateur and professional bakers. The live competition saw teams create outstanding showpieces, including cakes, desserts, pralines and bakery items to be judged by a team of WACS-licensed judges.
The event aims to raise the accomplishments of Indonesia’s talented chefs to an international standard.
