Havaianas has teamed up with Bondi-based surf photographer Eugene Tan for an awesome summer collaboration. Tan, better known as Uge, is best known for his dedication to capturing early morning beach life via his website, With 40,000 followers receiving his daily email of stunning photos taken each day, he has established quite a cult following over the years. His collaboration with the famed sandal makers produced a Unisex Havaianas ‘Top’ style piece featuring an aerial Aquabumps colour photo print capturing a busy summer’s day on Australia’s iconic Bondi Beach. Aquabumps x Havaianas are available at UNIVERSO stores across Indonesia from 20 December 2013 with prices ranging from Rp 299,000. Visit for store locations.


A few smart watches from smaller companies have trickled onto the market, but now we have our first entry from the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturer, the Samsung Galaxy Gear.  You will need to own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to get the most out of it as, initially, the Note 3 is the only smartphone that it can pair with. The Gear’s most basic function is to act as an extra notification screen for the phone, alerting users to incoming calls, texts and emails, as well as delivering a preview of those messages. The Gear also lets users to make completely hands-free calls by talking into their watch ala Dick Tracy. Wearers can use voice commands to draft messages, create new calendar entries, set alarms and check the weather. The Gear even features a 1.9 megapixel camera on the wristband, capable of taking photos and video on the sly.
