A: Revenue, positioning, brand exposure, guest and client satisfaction, occupancy, market, leadership and loyalty.
Q: What makes a typical day?
A: My priorities are ensuring customer satisfaction and happy guests, and that we reach our targeted goals as the result of strong teamwork. Maintaining a straightforward, healthy and positive work attitude and lifestyle is the basis of my days.
Q: What’s the toughest part of your job?
A: Keeping the team solid and making sure everyone works together for the best results.
Q: Who has been the most influential figure in your career?
A: Actually, it’s my team. There is so much inspiration, motivation and challenge involved with dealing with a group of people focused in the same direction.
Q: Name one really special thing about your hotel.
A: There is much more than one special thing about The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali! We have a great beachfront location close to the airport, a wonderful ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 people – which is rare in Bali – with numerous breakout rooms, plus a truly stunning Indonesian heritage design, artwork and philosophy, with just one single designer finalising all the hotel interiors.
Q: How do you unwind?
A: I love to travel with friends and family. There is so much to see and experience in the world, travel can really enrich your life. It’s also a great opportunity to spend quality time with my family and friends, which can be hard to achieve when we are working.
Q: If you hadn’t taken this career path, what would have chosen?
A: Definitely a chef. I love cooking and seeing people enjoy what I have created. Cooking is a way of caring for those we love.
