The American Queen of Pop, the one and only Madonna, is back with her 13th studio album, Rebel Heart. Following the December leak of more than two dozen demos of songs from Rebel Heart, it is scheduled to be released on 6th March 6, 2015 by Interscope Records. It’s one of the most highly-anticipated music albums of 2015. There are a few genres in this album; it does not sound like the comeback album of the rebel we know Madonna to be.
According to Billboard, this is Madonna’s most ambitious project in more than a decade. The first single is “Living for Love”, which includes background vocals by the London Gospel Community Choir and Alicia Keys on the piano. The song entitled “Bitch I’m Madonna” features the phenomenal Nicki Minaj, offering the best dance recording in this album to that point. You can also hear Kanye West rapping out in “Illuminati”. Songwriters and producers like Diplo, Avicii and Savan Kotecha are also involved in Rebel Heart. This album could be Madonna’s finest in almost a decade.
