Introducing Sababay, Award-winning Indonesian Wine

Established in 2010, Sababay Winery wines have won a multitude of prestigious international awards including five silver medals in 2015 and 2016 in the renowned AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge, a bronze medal in the 2015 Korean Wine Challenge, three medals in the 2015 China Wine & Spirit Awards, two Seals of Approval in the 2015 Japan Wine Challenge and a silver medal in the 2014 Singapore Wine & Spirits Awards.

The sun drenched shores of Gerogak – Banjar, the cool nights and the rich latero volcanic soil lends the perfect environment to grow grapes for the vineyards on the north coast of Bali. Vine-ripened Alphonse-Lavelle and Muscat grapes are picked twice yearly by local farmers in the island’s leading vineyards.  An exclusive, fair-trade arrangement between Sababay Winery and the local farmers results in sustainable, bountiful harvests of high quality grapes for winemaking.

Six varieties of New Latitude wines are made in Sababay Winery’s production facilities, which include state-of-the-art grape processing equipment. Stainless steel vertical and horizontal presses, temperature-controlled fermentation and storage tanks and an automatic bottling line ensure only the highest quality wine is produced.
