As the frontrunner fashion, retail and lifestyle hub in Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia held another round of its annual fashion event, Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2017, in September. With the theme Sneakers Culture, the one-stop destination brought an edgy and youthful twist to the fashion scene, with 22 outstanding men’s fashion designers and brands showcasing their collections in the course of five days. Some of the exceptional highlights of the fashion week included Ben Sherman’s autumn/winter 2017 collection – a nod to the “Spirit of the Mod”, M&S’ dapper line emphasising urban simplicity, and local brand Parang Kencana’s homage to the military look. Brands like Lanvin, Alleira Batik and Antony Morato also participated in the much-awaited event of the year.
