A Legend Revived

The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta is bringing back the glory of the 90s with the opening of Sultan Pizzeria.

Situated in the heart of Jakarta and one of the first luxury hotels in the city, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta is iconic. Back in the 90s, this was a trendy spot for Jakartans who were keen to dine at the outdoor pizzeria amid the urban jungle. Now, with a growing trend for outdoor socialising, the renowned hotel is bringing back its pizzeria and evoking some beautiful memories.

Nestled in the sprawling main tower area, Sultan Pizzeria is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Serving all-time Italian favourite small bites, pizzas and pasta, alongside refreshing drinks that range from smoothies and juices to mocktails and cocktails, this is a great venue for guests to relax in the fresh air and lush green open space.

With a massive outdoor area, the restaurant is easily reached from the hotel’s lobby or the main Gatot Subroto gates and can accommodate up to 50 people with the safest distance for seating arrangements.

“We welcome you all to Sultan Pizzeria. However, we have to observe strict social distancing at all times. We all want you to enjoy the meals, but we also have to be vigilant in maintaining good health and safety as a top priority; maintain your distance, practice good hand hygiene, wear face masks while not eating or drinking, and stay home if you don’t feel well,” said Fintan O’Doherty, general manager of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta.
