A Charitable Feast

Gourmands in Bali will be extremely excited to hear that on Saturday, July 12th 2014, the chef at Thailand’s world-famous Nahm restaurant will be hitting the island to host the twelfth  “I’m An Angel” charity dinner at KU DE TA.

The highly anticipated annual event will feature a Thai-inspired five-course feast cooked up by Chef David Thompson of Nahm in Bangkok, Thailand. The restaurant is consistently ranked amongst the world’s best restaurants, having most recently been named in the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants list at No.13, as well as the No.1 restaurant in Asia in the S.Pellegrino awards.

Accompanying the award-winning chef will be KU DE TA’s culinary stars, Ben Cross, Stephen Moore and Pastry Chef Will Goldfarb, while outside of the kitchen, guests will be treated to a live Jazz performance by multi-talented Dira Sugandi, before a charity auction of luxury items concludes the prestigious evening.

The I’m An Angel gala dinner aims to raise funds for Bali’s most underprivileged communities, supporting programmes that implement sustainable education, nutrition and water safety. KU DE TA has been involved with I’m An Angel since 2003, and to date, the charity has raised over US$625,000.

The dinner is priced at IDR3.5 million, inclusive of free flowing Champagne and red & white wine. For reservations contact iaa@kudeta.net
