In February 2016, Cheek by Jowl, which specialises in modern Australian dishes, opened its doors to the public in the lively neighbourhood of Telok Ayer. According to this philosophy, Cheek by Jowl Head Chef, Rishi Naleendra, has created a menu with elements of various cuisines composed in a gently flowing whole. Based in Singapore, Cheek by Jowl also takes inspiration from the local flavours and presents them in compositions such as coconut with laksa leaf ice cream, pomelo green chili parfait.
