Explore the beauty of island hopping with the world’s most exclusive catamaran sailing ship, Douce France.

The largest schooner sailing catamaran in the world, Douce France is equipped for worldwide charter and is a stunning choice for an exclusive holiday in some of the world’s most secluded and exquisite destinations. Douce France, also known as the Gentle Giant, spends summers in the South Pacific and winters in Southeast Asia.

Designed by world-renowned naval architects and specialists in multi-hull yachts, Van Petegham & Lauriot Prévost, Douce France boasts stunning looks, sleek elegance and graceful lines, with teak decks and interiors reflecting colonial charm with mahogany and rosewood furniture.

Offering a high-standard of service, 12 guests can be accommodated in the six air-conditioned staterooms, each with en-suite shower and offering either a queen or twin single beds, plus convertible desk or dressing table.

At 42.2 metres, there is plenty of space for guests to find their own space. Guests love the spaciousness and intimacy, as well as the easy access to the sea and tenders. A wet bar in the spacious cockpit offers delightfully refreshing drinks and a cool shady option after an ocean swim and there are three dining areas to take advantage of the culinary excellence, including the aft deck to dine under the stars.

The world-class chef uses fresh fish and local ingredients to create personalised masterpieces of French haute cuisine, Asian, Thai, Creole and Indian fare from a modern stainless steel galley. Artfully presented on Limoges china, the meals are further enhanced by an extensive wine selection.

With plenty of activities, including snorkelling, diving, kayaking, water skiing and big and small game fishing, as well as on-board massage, Douce France is equipped with an impressive selection of water toys and guides to suit all guests as they explore their unspoiled paradise.
