New Afternoon Tea at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta

Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta recently introduced the captivating Pesona Rempah Afternoon Tea, a celebration of Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage. In collaboration with Javara Indonesia, Executive Pastry Chef Lorenzo Sollecito and his team have curated an exquisite menu that pays homage to the nation’s diverse ingredients and the artisans behind them. The menu showcases standout ingredients sourced from various regions – from Papua’s bunga pala (mace) to North Sumatra’s andaliman (Batak pepper), each element tells a story of the archipelago.

The sweet offerings showcase the culinary finesse that has become synonymous with Four Seasons. Among the highlights is the Kopi, Bunga Pala & Arenga Nectar creation. This delectable treat melds the essence of roasted Balinese coffee beans with the subtlety of palm sap syrup, resulting in a harmonious fusion of flavours. For those seeking an artistic twist on traditional favourites, The Wedang Ronde stands out as a testament to the brilliance of the hotel’s pastry team, encased within a dark chocolate shell lies a symphony of ganache and a medley of Indonesian favourites, reimagining the beloved dessert.

On the savoury side, the Pesona Rempah Afternoon Tea promises a tantalising journey for the palate. From the bold cassava spicy combro with fermented peanut and wild aromatic ginger to the grilled moringa marinated green asparagus wrapped radish and the delicate white sorghum Money Bag with string chives, every bite encapsulates the essence of Indonesian culinary artistry.

Presented at La Patisserie, the captivating afternoon tea experience awaits daily from 2pm to 5pm. However, this gastronomic affair is available for a limited time, gracing the tables from 8 August to 26 November.
