With more than 15 years of experience, Dominik Hengge assumes the role at one of Jakarta’s most iconic five-star hotels.

Mandarin Oriental Jakarta proudly announces the appointment of Dominik Hengge as its new Hotel Manager, effective April 2024. With a stellar career spanning 17 years in luxury hospitality, Mr. Hengge brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic vision to his new role.

Having most recently served as the Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms at the prestigious Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, Mr. Hengge’s journey is marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence. His career took root as a Front Desk Agent at the renowned Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, where he cultivated a deep passion for the industry that has propelled him forward ever since.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hengge has honed his leadership skills across various roles within the St. Regis brand, leaving his mark in cities such as San Francisco, Bangkok, and Singapore. His dedication to continual growth and learning is evident in his attainment of an MBA in Tourism and Hospitality from Edinburgh Napier University. His global perspective, cultivated through extensive travel and immersion in diverse cultures, adds a unique dimension to his leadership approach.
