Travel the world through taste with ATLAS’ new flight series, worldATLAS.
Voted one of the best bars in Asia in the World’s 50 Best, ATLAS is bringing something new to the table for anyone itching to travel the world again. With worldATLAS, the famed bar is taking customers on a liquid journey across the globe by partnering up with best bars from around the world to create two signature cocktails from each destination for customers to explore.
Each flight is introduced by ATLAS’ Head Bartender, Jesse Vida, who will be joined by a bartender from the destination bar via Instagram Live. Running for a total of four weeks at ATLAS, all flights are complemented with a light bite from the kitchen of the visiting bar and are also available as a shared option, with two half serves of each cocktail and a snack. In addition to the nibbles, a postcard will also be presented to customers so they can post messages to loved ones anywhere in the world.
Running from 30 July to 8 August, customers at ATLAS can travel to Melbourne, Australia to enjoy Above Board, which will feature two cocktails created by veteran bartender Hayden Lambert. The two signature concoctions are the Corrective Cup, which is made using tequila, chestnut, bittersweet Italian liquor, lemon juice and aromatic bitters, while the other is Erin’s Delight, created using London Dry gin, Italian bitters, orange, lime juice and orange bitters.
More than just a sensory experience, this unique collaboration is also intended to help the struggling industry by donating 20 percent of all sales to the guest bar.
The next series on this journey will take a trip to Stockholm, Sweden, with Lucy’s Flower Shop. Available from 10 August to 5 September, the flight will reflect the flair and passion of head bartender Hampus Thunholm.
