Exclusive & Exceptional

Situated on the majestic Bukit Peninsula, atop the southern cliffs of Bali, The Ungasan Clifftop Resort offers discerning travellers a luxurious escape complete with magical views, heartfelt service, priority access to Sundays Beach Club, first-class facilities, sensational dining, and a choice of exclusive accommodations.

Located less than 20km from Bali’s international airport, The Ungasan Clifftop Resort comprises just seven large villas and residences and is one of the island’s most exclusive destinations.

Designed to reflect the tastes and demands of the people who had them built, each property is set upon a large 2,500sqm plot and boasts lavish interiors, luxury amenities, panoramic ocean views, private pool and sundeck, parking, butler service and 30m-cliff frontage. No matter which villa or suite you choose, there are plenty of places to gather and socialise, as well as spaces where you can be left alone to unwind.

Inspired by traditional open-plan Balinese design, Villa Ambar is a stunning five-bedroom home away from home with exquisite traditional hand-carved timber. Boasting a large clifftop pavilion set beside the curved infinity pool, the four-bedroom Villa Pawana is the choice for those who value private poolside entertainment and secluded tranquillity.

For those with kids, or who love outdoor living, Villa Jamadara features a breathtaking infinity pool situated on the edge of the cliff, a luxurious sunken lounge and large outdoor dining area. Constructed in the classic colonial style, Villa Tamarama is perfect for holidays and chic events and features two swimming pools, an oversized bar and an oceanfront pavilion. Villa Santai Sorga is a hacienda-inspired property with large communal spaces, infinity pool and clifftop pavilion. It has both formal and casual dining areas, and a master bedroom that takes up the entire first floor.

The Chintamani and Nora Residences, meanwhile, offer self-contained suites with shared access to the Residences’ main 20m pool, bar, lounge, dining areas, media room and clifftop pavilion. Whilst the villas are ideal for group holidays and events, the residences suit couples and independent travellers who want a single suite but with all the advantages of the impressive five-bedroom villas.

Aside from its outstanding accommodation and spectacular location, the resort is home to some exceptional dining and leisure facilities, and is well placed to explore famous local attractions like GWK Cultural Park and Uluwatu Temple. For relaxation, and with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, Vela Spa offers a seductive collection of relaxation and rejuvenation rituals. There is also a modern gym, putting green and synthetic grass tennis courts.

Created by The Ungasan’s acclaimed Australian chef Josh Tyler, dishes at Selatan Restaurant are inspired by the produce grown and gathered throughout Bali and Indonesia. Open all day, Selatan serves an array of innovative comfort foods, from pasta and pizza, to BBQ snapper and salads, or choose the equally impressive in-villa option.

Guests at The Ungasan benefit from priority access to Sundays Beach Club. Located directly below the resort, Sundays is one of Bali’s most iconic beach clubs. Indulge at The Pool Lounge, enjoy the clear waters and soft sandy beach, or relax in the infinity pool as you enjoy the breeze and gorgeous Indian Ocean views beyond.
