Cooking is my passion and my art. There is nothing I love more than creating a dish that is beautiful for the eyes and memorable for the palate. The plates are my canvas and my satisfaction is to see the empty canvas and smiling faces. I have been cooking in Jakarta for more than four years and I love incorporating fresh Indonesian local ingredients into my menu.

Jakarta’s best fine-dining Italian restaurant, Gaia’s specialties include its lobster spaghetti, tomahawk steak and homemade pasta, all lovingly prepared by Chef Nazario, a native of Italy’s Puglia region.
Chef Nazario was inspired by his mother to follow his passion professionally. Over the years, his international experience led him to develop his own cooking style, utilising the freshest bounty on the land and in the sea. He is dedicated to maintaining Gaia’s position as Jakarta’s best fine dining Italian restaurant.
