SO/ Bangkok is excited to announce the appointment of Adrien Marie as its new general manager. With over 12 years of international leadership experience in luxury hospitality, Adrien has a proven track record of excellence at prestigious properties in Indonesia, Vietnam, China and France.
Prior to his role at SO/ Bangkok, Adrien served as General Manager at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, where he was instrumental in the resort’s successful post-pandemic reopening. He also hosted significant global events, including the G20 Summit and the Global Tourism Forum, where he was a featured speaker. His previous positions include General Manager at Amarterra Villas Bali Nusa Dua – MGallery Collection and Executive Assistant Manager at Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi – MGallery Collection. Known for enhancing operational efficiency, launching sustainability initiatives and leading high-performing teams, Adrien has consistently achieved impressive results in guest satisfaction, loyalty and revenue growth.
A graduate of INSEEC Business School Paris and an alumnus of Accor’s International Hospitality Management Programme (IHMP), Adrien is recognised for his dynamic leadership and people-focused approach. Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences, he expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, stating, “Having spent most of my career in Asia, this region has become home to me both personally and professionally. I’m excited to join the inspiring team at SO/ Bangkok and contribute to a property that truly embodies style, soul and substance.”
Adrien’s appointment marks a new chapter for SO/ Bangkok as he takes the lead on an exciting new project: the transformation of the hotel’s rooftop venue on the 29th floor. This bold initiative aims to push creative boundaries and elevate the city’s lifestyle scene, reflecting the innovative spirit that Adrien brings to his role.
