Pesta Rakyat Padma 2025 blends tradition, games and gastronomy in a joyful tribute to Indonesia’s Independence Day.
As part of Pesta Rakyat Padma 2025, Padma Hotels transforms Indonesia’s Independence Day this August throughout all of its properties, with the exception of the Padma Hotel Bandung, which is undergoing renovations. Over two days, guests can revel in vibrant village-style markets, hands-on workshops, traditional games and authentic culinary delights, all reflecting the warmth, pride and togetherness of the occasion.
At Padma Resort Legian, celebrations begin on Saturday, 16 August 2025, with an archipelago-wide buffet, followed on Sunday, 17 August 2025, with a creative Leaf-Stamping Tote Bag workshop paired with Padurasa Tea Time. Classic games, like the Cracker-Eating Challenge and Marble-on-Spoon Race, promise plenty of laughter.
In Padma Resort Ubud, Sunday transforms the Pool Lawn into a bazaar of art, crafts, and traditional snacks. Guests can try their hand at Balinese games such as Kocokan, ending with the hilariously energetic Twerk Pong.
Padma Hotel Semarang offers cool hilltop breezes, a Batik Workshop, and a roster of nostalgic competitions before an outdoor movie screening under the stars.
Meanwhile, Resinda Hotel Karawang invites guests to colour traditional cardboard wayang puppets and enjoy a heritage Wayang Performance, alongside quirky contests like the Eggplant Push Relay and Chocolate Papaya Coin Hunt.
