Two Decades of OMEGA

Merging its identity with Ian Fleming’s iconic character, James Bond, the OMEGA Seamaster 300 was the highlight just before the premiere screening of Spectre.

When Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming chose OMEGA to be 007’s wristwatch in 1995’s Goldeneye, the world-famous brand and the legendary espionage film sealed the beginning of a beautiful and lasting friendship. “I was convinced that Commander Bond, a naval man, a diver and a discreet gentleman of the world, would wear the Seamaster with the blue dial,” Lindy explained.

Fast forward to 2015 when Daniel Craig sports the OMEGA Seamaster 300, which is an updated interpretation of the dive classic launched in 1957. The Seamaster 300 “Spectre” limited edition seen in the movie celebrates Omega’s 20-year partnership with the film franchise and comes in a robust stainless steel case with a sleek, black and grey striped NATO strap.

These refined details and sleek elegance were beautifully displayed and observed by a select lucky few during the premiere screening of Spectre hosted by OMEGA on 6th November, 2015, at XXI Plaza Senayan. Arriving guests were treated to a warm reception of cocktails and light bites at X2, in the club’s main hall, which had been transformed into a James Bond hall of fame presenting classy live performances and iconic 007 drinks such as the vodka martini.
