Weekend Starts Here

Looking at a city break but fancy something a bit different? If so, why not let the fabulous Westin Kuala Lumpur extend its wonderfully warm welcome and ease you into the weekend vibe with their mix of comfort, facilities and charming service.

Stylish and elegant, the spacious 443 guest rooms and suites offer splendid views over the city and a level of comfort epitomised by the signature Westin Heavenly® Bed. Along with the outstanding pool, the WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio provides more than enough opportunity for physical exercise under the guidance of highly trained staff.
It’s all about location and the Westin is not only topped up with terrific in-house pools, bars and restaurants, it is ideally positioned in the bustling Golden Triangle offering easy access to the city’s most fashionable shopping malls, chic restaurants and vibrant nightlife.

If you just want to hang around the hotel, the choice of dining options is extraordinary. Take authentic Cantonese cuisine at Five Sen5es – gorgeous dim sum to the opulence of abalone; or head to the contemporary Italian Prego and order a la carte, or why not indulge in the Bubbalicious Champagne Brunch? Try all day dining at Splash – the poolside restaurant, or enjoy the comfort of the Living Room, where a plethora of Asian and international dishes are served up in a chic, contemporary setting.

I adore all things Latin and so, unsurprisingly, my personal favourite dining option was the Qba, open from 5PM. Head downstairs into the charismatic Latin grill and wine bar with its sultry cigar lounge to enjoy steaks, classic tapas, signature cocktails, fine wines and music in an authentic Cuban setting – perfecto!!

KL is an upcoming destination and is easily accessible from just about anywhere in the region. With a modern and expanding transport system, KL is easy to explore either independently or using certified travel guides. So the next time you feel like a break, why not check it out?
