The Macallan Edition No. 3 was unveiled in Jakarta at an elegant evening at Monty’s to a key opinion crowd of VIPs. The fascinating evening took guests on a journey of the top five tasting notes – floral, fresh cut oak, citrus, vanilla and chocolate – of this exciting new whisky. The result of collaboration between The Macallan’s Master Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno and Master Perfumer Roja Dove, The Macallan Edition No. 3 balances a heavier base derived from Tevasa, with other aromas from the Hudosa, European and American casks. With an ABV of 48.3%, it is a distinctive single malt that challenges expectations and reflects the genius of Dalgarno and Dove. This alluring whisky will be available at select premium outlets in Indonesia around May 2018.
