The highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria Bangkok opens on 30th August 2018 in the heart of the bustling Ratchaprasong intersection bringing its exemplary commitment to personal service to Southeast Asia for the first time.
Designed to appear as though it is a magnolia flower springing from the ground and towering over the city, it presents a dramatic profile in Bangkok’s skyline. Daniel Welk, Vice President of Operations, Luxury and Lifestyle, Hilton, Asia Pacific, promised, “The hotel’s timeless environment and exclusively crafted guest experiences, combined with the brand’s unparalleled True Waldorf Service, will set a new benchmark for luxury in Asia.”
Exuding charming Thai spirit, the hotel boasts 171 luxuriously appointed and spacious guest rooms and suites along with a holistic hotel experience marrying the building’s contemporary architecture with Thai artisanal tradition.
True to Waldorf Astoria’s culinary heritage, the Bangkok hotel is sure to be a dining destination itself. Three unique restaurant concepts, a lounge and two bars will adorn the top floors, from levels 55 to 57, with design visions created by AvroKO.
A new take on dining will see acclaimed chef Rungthiwa Chummongkhon, Chef Fae, bring her Michelin-star experience to the Front Room, where she presents an elegant and delightful new blend of new Nordic and Thai flavours in a relaxed setting.
