Art Jakarta Gardens 2025 Concludes with Powerful Showcases

Bringing art into the open, Art Jakarta Gardens 2025 transformed an urban garden into a lively cultural space. This year’s edition featured cross-sector collaborations, thought-provoking pieces and a strong sense of community.

Art Jakarta Gardens 2025 officially wrapped up after a vibrant six-day run at Hutan Kota by Plataran, Jakarta. The fourth edition of the open-air art fair brought together 25 galleries from across Indonesia, expanding from last year’s 22 participants. With a unique format that integrates contemporary art into a lush urban landscape, this year’s fair offered a fresh way to engage with artistic expressions in the heart of the capital.

Visitors were drawn to the Sculpture Garden, where standout pieces like “Sit on the Bench” by King Saladeen, “Rooster” by Yunizar, and “Terbanglah Bunda” by Yani Mariani showcased the breadth of modern sculptural practice. Among the most talked-about installations was Abenk Alter’s “Flower for the Future,” presented by Bibit, an interactive piece exploring human connection and collective intention.

Treasury collaborated with Arkiv Vilmansa for “Golden Age,” blending investment and art in a gold-themed concept filled with symbolism and exclusivity. BCA made its debut as a Lead Partner with the immersive “myBCA Space,” while iForte’s solar-powered “Twinkle-gize” brought tech and art into harmony.

Music and performance also enriched the experience, with FLOAT, Sal Priadi, and Reda Gaudiamo among the featured acts, and the striking “Sangiran 17: ERECTUSTOPIA” performance by Prehistoric Body Theater connecting ancestral themes to modern embodiment.

With strong backing from financial, cultural, and creative institutions, Art Jakarta Gardens 2025 demonstrated the power of collaboration and reinforced Jakarta’s growing role as a centre for contemporary art.
