DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya has launched its festive celebrations with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony that highlights community support and sustainable design through a collaboration with Setali Indonesia.
DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya has officially begun its festive celebrations with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, attended by in-house guests and media partners.
This year’s event opened with a performance by children from Abhimata Mitrasamaya Orphanage, bringing attention to the hotel’s ongoing commitment to community support. The ceremony also marked the unveiling of the hotel’s festive décor, created in collaboration with Setali Indonesia, an organisation focused on extending the lifecycle of textile waste. Fabric waste collection boxes were placed on-site from October to November, resulting in approximately 45 kilograms of pre-loved textiles repurposed into decorations displayed throughout the lobby and OPEN} Restaurant. Natural rattan was also used in place of plastic materials. This initiative reflects the hotel’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values, particularly in promoting sustainability and responsible design practices.
Joining in the celebration, OPEN} Restaurant introduces “Celebrate The Season in Style”, featuring a variety of festive favourites such as roasted turkey, beef wellington, seafood on ice, and Christmas log cake. The hotel will also offer Christmas hampers, including two signature cakes and a cookie box for gifting.
To welcome 2026, the hotel presents “A Wonderful New Year Celebration” at the Grand MapleTree Ballroom. The celebration includes a buffet featuring roasted tomahawk, suckling lamb, a sushi and sashimi bar, and a gelato station. Cultural performances by students from SMAN 2 and SMAN 12 Tangerang Selatan will be showcased, supporting local talent and Indonesian heritage. Live music, a midnight countdown, and a children’s play area will complete the experience.
