Taking time to pause and focus on well-being is something many people often forget. Global Wellness Day is a reminder to do just that. This year, Hotel Tentrem Jakarta is planning a full-day event to mark the occasion, bringing together wellness, culture and community in collaboration with Iwan Tirta Private Collection and Mandaya Royal Hospital Puri.
Set to take place on Sunday, 15 June 2025, the programme is designed to reflect the #MagentaNature theme, which encourages a return to simplicity and connection. The day will begin with a complimentary medical check-up provided by Mandaya Royal Hospital Puri, setting a practical tone for wellness beyond surface-level gestures. Guests will be encouraged to take a proactive approach to their well-being.
A Vinyasa yoga session by Coach Livi will guide participants in reconnecting with their bodies and breathing. This will be followed by sound healing, meditation, and journaling with Abigail Aurelia, offering a space to pause, reflect and reset. Each session is designed to flow naturally into the next, creating a gentle rhythm throughout the day.
In the afternoon, attention will turn to culture with a batik workshop led by artisans from Pekalongan, presented by Iwan Tirta Private Collection. This hands-on experience will highlight the calming, meditative nature of traditional batik-making. A styling session will follow, where batik’s heritage meets contemporary flair, ending with a relaxed catwalk performance.
From wellness checks to creative workshops, Hotel Tentrem Jakarta’s Global Wellness Day programme aims to offer more than a one-off event. It invites guests to consider how mindful living and cultural appreciation can go hand in hand, not as separate ideas but as a way of life.
