Le Beauvallon Reopens: A Riviera Icon Unveils New Luxury Experiences

After nearly a decade of closure, Le Beauvallon reopens its doors for a limited summer season, combining the charm of the French Riviera with a fresh culinary approach, marking the beginning of a new era ahead of its transformation into COMO Le Beauvallon in 2026.

Perched above the serene Bay of Saint-Tropez, Le Beauvallon has been a symbol of Belle Époque elegance, representing the timeless allure of the Côte d’Azur. Originally opened in 1914, this historic estate has hosted numerous celebrations and private getaways amid 10 acres of well-tended gardens, swaying palms and expansive sea views. For the first time since its closure, the Riviera icon will welcome guests into its 25 sea-facing suites for an exclusive summer retreat from 1 July to 31 October 2025.

Transitioning from a private event venue to a seasonal hotel, Le Beauvallon’s return caters to guests looking for spontaneity, privacy and classic elegance. Located just eight minutes by boat from the vibrant Saint-Tropez and adjacent to the esteemed Golf Club de Beauvallon, the estate offers a blend of tranquillity and easy access to the Riviera’s celebrated attractions.

The reopening of Le Beauvallon marks the commencement of an exciting partnership with COMO Hotels and Resorts, a family-owned hospitality group led by Christina Ong. Renowned for its refined service, wellness-centric design and award-winning cuisine across 20 global destinations, COMO introduces a fresh vision to this storied property. The full reveal of COMO Le Beauvallon is anticipated in 2026, positioning the estate as a significant addition to the brand’s European portfolio.

As part of this revival, Le Beauvallon’s beach club will feature a new culinary concept for summer 2025. This unique offering will blend Mediterranean influences with Asian flavours, served in an inviting setting with views of the bay. Esteemed chef Yannick Alléno, recognised with 17 Michelin stars, will guide the resort’s culinary direction moving forward.

With its reopening, Le Beauvallon aims to harmonise heritage with modernity, combining French Riviera refinement with a contemporary aesthetic. It promises to be more than just a place to stay; it seeks to be a destination experience.
