Ed Sheeran’s eighth studio album, entitled Play, marks a return to mainstream pop following his recent acoustic projects. It is supported by three singles: Azizam, Old Phone and Sapphire. Play is the first instalment in Sheeran’s planned symbol‑themed series, which will be followed by title‑themed albums such as Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind and Stop.

Am I the Drama?
Cardi B
Release date: 19 September 2025

Am I the Drama? is Cardi B’s long‑awaited sophomore album, her first since Invasion of Privacy in 2018. The title and artwork emphasise a dark, theatrical aesthetic highlighted by ravens and high‑fashion drama. The lead single, Outside, marks her first solo release in over a year and debuted at the top of Apple Music’s charts.

Tron: Ares (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Nine Inch Nails
Release date: 19 September 2025

The soundtrack to Disney’s film Tron: Ares features 24 original tracks composed by Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross). The first single, As Alive as You Need Me to Be, debuted in July. This marks their return under the NIN name, being their first official album since Ghosts V & VI (2020).

Here for It All
Mariah Carey
Release date: 26 September 2025

Mariah Carey will release her 16^th studio album, Here for It All, through her independent imprint in partnership with Gamma. This album marks her first full-length project since Caution in 2018 and features 11 tracks, including the lead single Type Dangerous (released in June) and a new single Sugar Sweet (released in July). The release coincides with the 30^th anniversary of her album Daydream.
