The season will open on 5 December 2025 as the Rotunda lobby is transformed into a luminous wonderland of cascading lights designed by Putu Marmar Herayukti, the renowned Denpasar-hailed artist who is also set to direct the evening’s mesmerising performances. Guests can bring a piece of this spectacle to their suites with the Candle Experience, running until March 2026. Those looking for an even more intimate celebration can visit the Sofitel SPA for exclusive treatments throughout December.
By the time Christmas Eve comes around, the resort is ready to delight guests with a feast. A five-course dinner awaits with wine pairing options at the candlelit Cucina, while Toya Beach Bar & Grill offers dining under twinkling stars with a beachfront tropical buffet as fire dancers entertain.
On 25 December 2025, the merriment starts with a spread of Italian, French and Asian delights at Cucina’s brunch, accompanied by an angelic children’s choir and surprise visits from Santa. Alternatively, opt for an al fresco buffet underscored by a live band’s rendition of favourite holiday tunes and a magic show at Kwee Zeen. Meanwhile, little ones can revel in their own Christmas party at the Kids Club. As evening falls, Kwee Zeen opens its doors once more for a Pan-Asian dinner that truly celebrates the season’s greetings.
Drawing closer to the final moments of the year, New Year’s Eve brings a luxurious intimate dinner at Cucina and a lively six-course dinner against the ocean’s evening breeze at Gamelan Grand Ballroom accompanied by singer Lydia Rose’s soulful melodies. Children can also return to the Kids Club for fun activities and a parade. In the morning, return to Kwee Zeen to start the new year on a high note with a leisurely breakfast buffet.
