Uniworld Unveils New Course and Future Plans for 2026-2027

The river cruise brand celebrates its upcoming 50th anniversary with a new travel advisor course, fleet expansion, and a series of immersive itineraries across Europe and Southeast Asia.

As it approaches a significant milestone, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has introduced a new course within its Uniworld University platform, offering travel advisors an exclusive look at what lies ahead for the brand. The programme also marks Uniworld’s 50th anniversary, celebrating its legacy while highlighting exciting developments planned for 2026 and 2027.

Designed for both new and experienced advisors, the course provides detailed insights into upcoming fleet expansions, new itineraries and enhanced travel experiences. Those who complete the programme will gain access to exclusive advisor rates, CLIA certification credits, recognition as a Preferred Specialist on Uniworld’s website and an official Uniworld Preferred Specialist badge.

One of the major highlights is the expansion of Uniworld’s fleet. By 2027, the brand aims to transform its ships into a fully Super Ship fleet, beginning with the launch of the S.S. Emilie. Debuting in March, the vessel is the company’s first new build since 2020 and draws inspiration from Austrian artist Gustav Klimt and his muse Emilie Flöge. The ship will feature bold Art Nouveau design, expanded suite configurations and new sustainability elements that reflect the brand’s evolving vision.

Further additions will follow in 2027 with three more Super Ships: S.S. Audrey, S.S. Marlene and S.S. São Rafael. Inspired by legendary film icons Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich, the first two vessels promise elegant interiors and refined European river journeys. Meanwhile, S.S. São Rafael will sail along Portugal’s Douro River, increasing capacity in one of Uniworld’s most popular regions.

Uniworld is also expanding beyond traditional river cruises. A notable addition is the Aqua Blu expedition yacht, operated in partnership with Aqua Expeditions. Sailing twice a year, it will explore Indonesia and Singapore, offering travellers rare access to destinations such as Komodo National Park and the historic Spice Islands.

Alongside new ships, the brand will introduce several itineraries across Europe and Southeast Asia. Among them is the 13-night “Bali, Singapore & Indonesia Expedition”, which combines a stay in Bali, an expedition cruise through Indonesia and a luxury visit to Singapore.

With new ships, fresh destinations and innovative travel experiences, Uniworld is preparing for an exciting new chapter in the years ahead.
