Padma Resort Ubud Introduces Salt-Chlorinated Infinity Pool

Padma Resort UbudBali’s well-known jungle retreat offers a kinder, more environmentally responsible approach to swimming.

Located in the lush highlands of Payangan, Padma Resort Ubud has unveiled a refreshing upgrade to its show-stopping 89-metre heated infinity pool with the introduction of salt chlorination technology. This forward-thinking system provides a cleaner, softer and more natural swimming experience while minimising its environmental impact.

Using natural salt and a process called electrolysis, the pool now generates chlorine in a steady, controlled way. Water that stays sparkling clear, free from the harsh odours and fluctuations often found in traditionally treated pools. Guests will notice the difference immediately. It is smoother, silkier water that’s far kinder to skin, hair and eyes, especially for those with sensitivities or allergies.

Beyond comfort, this change marks another stride in the resort’s commitment to sustainable hospitality. By reducing reliance on manufactured chemicals, the salt chlorination system helps minimise environmental impact, perfectly complementing the serene natural beauty that surrounds the property.

“We are proud to take this step towards a more sustainable and guest-friendly pool experience,” said Sudiman Arpan, General Manager of Padma Resort Ubud. “This upgrade forms part of our continuous efforts to enhance comfort, health and wellbeing for our guests, while remaining true to our environmental values.”
