Padma Hotels supports education and environmental sustainability following the successful Padma Run Bali 2025.
The recent Padma Run Bali 2025 wasn’t just about crossing the finish line. It was about making a positive impact on the local community. The event, which was organised by Padma Hotels, raised IDR113,484,780 to support environmental sustainability and education thanks to the runners’ participation.
On Wednesday, 30 July 2025, the funds were presented to several villages in Payangan, Gianyar. The donations will go directly toward creating a better learning environment for students, with a portion of the funds used to renovate school facilities and purchase two new laptops for Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Puhu.
The initiative also had a strong focus on the environment. In Payangan, 40 sets of brand-new trash cans for both organic and inorganic waste were given to several neighbourhood associations (banjar). This effort aims to improve waste management and encourage a cleaner, greener community for everyone.
“The donation provided by Padma Hotels to Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Puhu is not just a one-time contribution. In previous years, we have also received numerous forms of assistance from Padma Hotels, including facilities, infrastructure, goods, and services to support education in our school. We sincerely thank Padma Hotels for always caring, and we hope that all the donations will be put to the best possible use,” said I Wayan Suryaarta, Headmaster of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Puhu.
“Today we are very proud to hand over this donation, which reflects our ongoing commitment to support social and humanitarian programmes that have a direct impact on the community,” said Padma Hotels representative and Padma Resort Legian hotel manager Kristanti Tannady. Through initiatives like Padma Run Bali, the organisation continues to champion education, sustainability, and community wellbeing across Bali.
