The Maybank Marathon 2025 featured a strong focus on wellness, with The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali introducing its signature wellbeing programme to the event. The resort emphasised the importance of proper nutrition and overall wellbeing for participants.
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has once again placed wellness at the heart of its mission, proudly joining the prestigious Maybank Marathon 2025. Staying true to its commitment to wellbeing, the resort extended its signature programmes beyond its grounds and into the vibrant energy of the international road race.
Key wellness offerings include the principles of Eat Well, Move Well and Feel Well. To recognise full marathon finishers among the 13,600 runners, the resort provided each participant with a pair of exclusive Westin flip-flops, designed to offer comfort and aid recovery post-race.
The resort also curated a tailored wellness experience for 14 elite international athletes during their pre-race stay, featuring the nutrient-rich Eat Well menu. This wholesome offering was extended to the official race crew, ensuring everyone involved was fuelled with nourishing goodness.
Additionally, the Westin booth showcased the resort’s Gear Lending programme and fitness essentials, encouraging runners to explore ways to maintain an active lifestyle while travelling.
The Westin team participated in the event held from 22 to 24 August 2025. Running Concierges Alit and Andika represented the Move Well philosophy, while Meta Runners’ KOL Fegyana Citra Manik excelled in the Full Marathon. The Half Marathon saw enthusiastic participation from General Manager Sander Looijen, Wellness Ambassador Dr. Jitendra Pokhriyal, Chef Michael Leuwol, wellness influencer Pandu Kurniawan and members of the IndoRunners Bali community.
