This October, the Padma Musical Series returns to Padma Resort Legian with A Cello Journey – From Vienna to Bali, an exquisite cross-continental collaboration featuring Austria’s rising cello star Ania Druml, alongside Indonesia’s celebrated musicians Bryant Gozali and Carla Suharto.

Set for Sunday, 19 October 2025, the concert promises a night of virtuosity and heartfelt connection, inviting audiences to travel sonically from Bali’s serene shores to the grand concert halls of Vienna. Through their artistry, the trio will weave stories that transcend borders, celebrating both the timeless elegance of classical music and the vibrant spirit of cultural exchange.

Ania Druml, described by Kleine Zeitung for her wonderful warm tone, has earned international acclaim with performances across Europe, the USA, and Asia, including at the prestigious Cello Biënnale Amsterdam. Known as one of Austria’s brightest young talents, she brings her signature blend of precision and passion to the Bali stage.

Joining her is Bryant Gozali, Co-Principal of the Jakarta Simfonia Orchestra and a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music and UCLA. Renowned for his expressive playing and dedication to chamber music, Gozali embodies Indonesia’s growing classical music excellence.

Completing the ensemble, Carla Suharto, a Gold Prize-winning pianist trained in Germany, brings lyrical sensitivity and technical brilliance. Her performances across Europe and Asia reflect both depth and versatility, hallmarks of a true international artist.

Together, the three musicians promise an unforgettable evening of chamber music, a harmonious dialogue between cultures, instruments, and emotions.
