The Gaia Hotel Bandung stands as one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks, rising 16 floors above the lush mountain valley on a 2.3-hectare site in the northern hills of Bandung. Its concept embraces the balance between activity and rest, modernity and nature, sophistication and warmth. Designed by architect Ferry Ridwan of Studio TonTon, alongside interior design firms CWDO and Willis Kusuma, the hotel is a refined modern interpretation of Bandung’s Art Deco heritage.
Recreation sits at the heart of The Gaia experience. Guests can unwind in the infinity pool overlooking the valley, stay active in the modern gym equipped with reformer pilates or rejuvenate at Sepik Massage Therapy & Spa. Families are also well catered for, with loft-style Family Rooms and the KidsCADS play studio that keeps younger guests engaged and inspired.
Dining is another key highlight. Gaia Semeja Asian Kitchen serves comforting local and regional dishes in a relaxed, family-style setting, while Inspira Roasters, the in-house café and roastery, offers freshly brewed coffee and light bites for a slower start to the day. As the sun sets, Monomono Bar & Social Dining comes alive with Latin American and Japanese influences through a lively sharing-style menu.
The hotel also excels as a destination for gatherings and events. With 26 versatile spaces, both indoor and outdoor, it accommodates everything from private celebrations to corporate functions. The Altitude, a glass and steel structure suspended 27 metres above ground, stands as a signature venue for weddings and special occasions, while the open-air amphitheatre and rooftop garden offer creative spaces for concerts and community events.
