On 26 June 2026, Indonesian jewellery brand TULOLA unveiled its latest boutique at Mall Grand Indonesia, introducing a space designed to bring visitors closer to the craftsmanship behind its creations.
Putting the vision of founders Happy Salma, Sri Luce Rusna, and Franka Franklin-Makarim at the forefront, the new boutique centers entirely on TULOLA’s master artisans. Visitors can experience the life cycle of every design firsthand, moving from raw conceptual sketches to hand-forged metals and exceptional final polishes.
The boutique also features moodboards and visual collages that reveal some of the references informing TULOLA’s creative process, from Indonesia’s landscapes and cultural motifs to design sketches and documentation of the making process. Together, these elements illustrate how an initial idea develops into a finished piece of jewellery.
At the heart of the boutique is the artisan’s workbench, accompanied by an installation featuring traditional tools including pliers, chisels and precision engraving instruments. Once kept behind the scenes, these tools are presented as part of the space as a tribute to the generations of Indonesian artisans who have preserved the country’s silversmithing traditions.
