Agung Ngurah Aditya – Through The Viewfinder

Shot with NOMO 135 Ti.

Agung Ngurah Aditya’s connection with the lens began before his own memory did. Family anecdotes recall a child constantly fiddling with cameras. By high school, visiting the local film lab to develop rolls became a daily ritual. Photography emerged as his natural way to immortalise overlooked details, capturing him in the small, quiet moments.

For the Balinese photographer known simply as Adit, the medium thrives on its fleeting nature. He captures something real within a split second before shaping the frame creatively with light or a specific mood. His focus is on uncovering a subject’s authenticity, which lends tremendous strength to his final images.

Moreover, Adit has collaborated with numerous high-profile clients over the years. As he continues building his portfolio in fashion photography, a deeper purpose revealed itself. He grew more aware that this genre is more than a simple showcase of clothing or style. It also acts as a vehicle for personal identity, emotional resonance, and meaningful storytelling, which remains the most rewarding aspect of his career.
