A compilation of published songs that the British singer and songwriter has written with legendary composer Burt Bacharach, the album celebrates the three-decade-long partnership and starts with a 2023 remaster of the acclaimed 1999 album, Painted from Memory. The Songs of Bacharach & Costello also has a physical CD titled Taken From Life, which consists of unreleased songs and scores from the proposed Painted From Memory
musical show.

Asphalt Meadows: Acoustic

Following last year’s release of DCFC’s latest album, Asphalt Meadows, the band has announced that this month they will release an acoustic version of the same album. Following the announcement, Death Cab released the unplugged album’s first single, Pepper, to roaring reviews. In addition to original songs, the band also includes a small, personal surprise, a cover of The Plan, a song by Low, which is also a tribute to sadly departed vocalist Mimi Parker.

Songs of Surrender

Being around for as long as they have, Irish superband U2 has an extensive library. Songs of Surrender comprises re-recorded and reinterpreted songs from the group’s back catalogue – 40 of them to be precise. The connection to Bono’s recent memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, is clear. Most likely, the 40 chapters named after the band’s songs will also be the actual song list for the album.
