Get Fresh Every Friday at BIASA+ in Seminyak

There’s no better way to end the week – or to start the weekend – than with a relaxed morning or afternoon at the newly launched BIASA+ ‘Friday Market’ on Jalan Raya Seminyak in Bali. In full swing from 11AM to 4PM, the weekly event is hosted within a secret garden located in back of the recently transformed art-fashion-lifestyle BIASA ArtSpace. The expansive lawn beckons a sophisticated picnic surrounded by contemporary, larger-than-life metal sculptures, while the graciously furnished veranda provides an ideal spot to meet friends for a light bite and to indulge in a little retail therapy.

Whether you’re in the mood to stock the house with scrumptious goodies for the weekend or need a few last minute items for your in-villa cocktail party, you’ll be delighted by hand-woven baskets that overflow with organic fruits and veggies, artisan breads, jars of hand-crafted wild honey and locally produced jams crafted by So Organic. Seminyak’s hippest café, Revolver, is there with a stylish coffee corner serving up your favourite cup of java, which goes perfectly with a decadent selection of hand-crafted brownies and cookies that are lovingly made by one of the island’s long-time expatriates.

If you’re in the mood for lunch or need some inspiring take-away, you’ll find a chef preparing hand-rolled sushi by the recently opened – and already legendary – Sushimi restaurant on Jalan Dhyana Pura. For vegetarians and carnivores alike, don’t forget to pick up a few rustic mini-pies prepared just the way Grandma used to – expertly created by Lynley of Fabulous Foods.
