The resort’s latest initiative in promoting local culture, COMO Journey, returns for a new edition, Through Her Eyes, a month-long exhibition featuring four Balinese women artists.
Exploring local cultures can be a unique way to elevate your escapades. COMO Uma Ubud takes it a step further by bringing that experience closer to guests with their immersive cultural programme COMO Journey. December 2025 will welcome their latest edition, Through Her Eyes, celebrating the dynamic creative arts through the feminine lenses of four Balinese women: Ayu Sri Rejeki, Eni Astriani, Kartika Sudibia and Kendisan.
Starting on 1 December, the month-long event will begin with COMO Conversation – The Art of Becoming at Kemiri Restaurant. This panel talk is set to discuss the personal connection each artist has to art, spanning topics of emotional vulnerability, feminine perspective, symbolism and creative renewal.

For a more hands-on experience, guests should look out for a series of workshops taking place throughout subsequent weeks of the month every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Intimate classes in sculpting, naïve painting, charcoal drawing and canvas bag painting — each led by a different artist — await, inviting guests to participate in this world of artistic expression.
At the heart of Through Her Eyes is the eponymous exhibition, which will inhabit the Yoga Studio and Uma Bar. Whether it’s the intricate, emotive sculptures or the vibrant abstract paintings, there’s a personal story to be found or even taken home in these passion projects.
