Desa Potato Head is Back!

Let’s get dolled up because the hottest hangout spot in Seminyak is reopening on 16 May!

After a hiatus of over a year, the most popular spot in Petitenget is finally welcoming back guests for a dose of tropical living. On 16 May, Desa Potato Head will begin its phase-by-phase reopening journey, starting with Potato Head Beach Club.

A trendsetter in the laidback lifestyle, Petitenget’s skyline has never been the same since Potato Head Beach Club first opened. Beyond the jaw-dropping facade are the 500sqm lawn, two bars, two restaurants and an infinity pool overlooking ever-popular Seminyak Beach. With this comeback, guests can revel once more in the signature sun-drenched sounds and locally inspired tipples.

On the same day, famed Indonesian restaurant Kaum Bali will also open its doors. Helmed by Balinese Executive Chef Wayan Kresna Yasa, Kaum Bali offers a curated menu that is categorised into cuisines from the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Bali, Sulawesi and Maluku, allowing diners to enjoy the dishes as they are supposed to be prepared and served.

Desa Potato Head has also been working hard over the past year to establish Sweet Potato Project, a farming initiative to help feed staff and other communities that have needed help in the current situation. Working with Green School, they have distributed more than 10,000 plant-based nasi bungkus from a bio-fuelled bus.

Potato Head Beach Club and Kaum Bali will follow the highest safety protocols to ensure everyone has a worry-free experience, and the space has been reconfigured to align with the recommended social distancing measures.
