Dior Maison Illuminates Milan with Corolle Lamps at Salone del Mobile 2026

Presented at Salone del Mobile 2026, Dior Maison’s latest Corolle lamps reinterpret the house’s iconic New Look through contemporary design and artisanal craftsmanship.

At the 2026 edition of Salone del Mobile, Dior Maison presents a refined exploration of design, heritage, and craftsmanship through its latest collection of nomadic Corolle lamps. Conceived by French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, the pieces pay tribute to one of the defining silhouettes of Christian Dior’s iconic 1947 New Look, specifically the Corolle line, known for its soft, petal-like structure.

Unveiled within the historic Palazzo Landriani in Milan’s Brera district, the presentation extends Dior Maison’s ongoing dialogue between past and present. The lamps themselves echo the femininity and fluidity of couture, translating fashion codes into functional design objects. Their sculptural forms and soft illumination reflect Duchaufour-Lawrance’s signature approach, where organic lines meet technical precision.

The scenography plays a key role in shaping the experience. Inspired by Villa Les Rhumbs which is Dior’s childhood residence in Granville, the space evokes a dreamlike garden setting. This reference is particularly significant, as the villa and its surrounding landscapes were known to influence Dior’s early creative sensibilities. For this installation, Thai artists Korakot Aromdee and Vasana Saima reinterpret these natural elements through a contemporary lens, blending graphic structures with organic textures.

Beyond its visual appeal, the installation highlights Dior Maison’s commitment to artisanal excellence. Each lamp is not merely decorative, but a demonstration of meticulous craftsmanship as an extension of the house’s couture philosophy into the realm of interiors. This approach aligns with a broader movement within luxury design, where heritage brands increasingly bridge fashion and home, creating cohesive lifestyle narratives.

Open to the public from 21 to 26 April, the showcase positions Dior Maison at the intersection of design and storytelling. Rather than presenting objects in isolation, it offers an immersive environment where history, nature, and modernity converge, capturing the enduring spirit of Dior in a distinctly contemporary form.
